We offer several services to Haflinger clients. **NOW! For 2010, offering riding and driving lessons! We have not publicly offered riding or driving lessons in over five years. However, now for the 2010 year we will again be offering both riding and driving lessons to the general public for beginners through advanced. Christmas Packages 1) ‘It’s just a phase’ package Basic horse keeping. 4 lessons include meeting the horses, learning about the tack and equipment, general care of a horse (cleaning feet, feeding, cleaning stalls), how to lead, groom, tie, saddle and bridle. 2) Beginner Horsemanship– Learn basic riding position including how to balance and learn the feel when riding. How to properly communicate with your horse. Basic walking and trotting while learning how to navigate around obstacles in an arena. Package of 4 private lessons $130 3) Confidence Builder/Refresher Package– Has it been a few years since you have ridden,
or did you always wish you had a horse? How
about an accident on a horse that left you a bit shaken and uncertain?
This course is designed for you! Learn about how to read and understand how a horse communicates, get back in the saddle in a safe environment with different exercises tailored at having fun, getting comfortable with a horse and being in the saddle, and watch your confidence soar! 4) Driving 101– Love horses, but have no
desire to ride? Try your hand at
driving! This class shows the basics
of learning how to drive. Sessions
include how to properly harness a horse, and adjust fit.
How to safely hook and unhook to a vehicle.
Learn how to navigate simple courses at a walk and trot! Package of 4 private lessons $140 We
offer classes for you and your own horse too! Intermediate

5 and over through adults welcome! We have miniature horses through full size! Come have fun with horses!

We offer a variety of training and showing options, anything from showing your horse ourselves, to teaching you the 'ropes' of the Haflinger world. We take care of it all, preparing the horse, conditioning, shoeing, bathing, clipping, attire, equipment, hauling, entries, hotel reservations, food etc. Just show up! We can help! We take clients from all over the United States to the Registered Haflinger sales to find your perfect partner. We do all the leg work! We know the breed, the papers, the owners, the breeders, the grooms/riders/drivers, the training, what horses are broke, and what ones aren't, who has health problems and who is at the sale because of downsizing and everything else that is important to know when attending an auction.
