'Max' is a towering 16 hand, eight year old dark red/chestnut with a white mane and tail registered gelding.  He is the tallest Haflinger we have ever seen.  He has the sweetest personality, is very willing to please and we have yet to see him have any type of a negative attitude.  His first show was at the Ohio State Fair, and he never once batted a eye at any of the commotion that was going on.  Max rides and drives single.  He stood third place at the Indiana State Fair out of 25 geldings in his halter class!  Max is perfect for that person looking for a taller Haflinger, with the whole package, brains, beauty and ability to move.  He is best suited as a pleasure type Haflinger as he doesn't have the excitement needed for draft driving.

This spring, Max is being ridden daily out on the trail alone.  He is a great trail horse, traffic safe and very willing.  My husband likes him as he says he can actually ride him because he doesn't have any fancy 'buttons', you just point in the direction you want to go and he goes. :)
