Mike, Jacque, Johnathan (JD) and Ty Michael Woodward have lived in Ohio their entire lives. We are active in almost every aspect of training, showing, and enjoying Haflinger horses.  Mike comes from a long family history of over thirty years of breeding and raising Haflingers.  He served in the US Marine Corps for five years before coming back home to help the family with the horses.   His favorite part of the farm however is driving the draft hitch.  Eight is his favorite with six being a close second.  Jacque came into the Woodward family as a intern from a line of training Quarter Horses and Paints.  Finishing her equine degree from Ohio State University required a internship in which she finished up at the Woodward farm.  Falling in love with her first training Haflinger, the fabulous Gold rated stallion A Rock, Jacque stayed on with the farm and continued showing the riding horses and learning the driving aspects as well as the Haflinger bloodlines and new people.  Jacque graduated from Ohio State University in 2000 with a degree in Horse Production and Management.

Mike and Jacque were then married in the fall of 2001 and started working their own Haflingers across the road from Mike's family Haflinger farm. We now train Haflingers for numerous disciplines, our favorites being all-around performance horses who can do everything! It is nothing to drive by and see us doing Dressage, Jumping, Trail Courses, Halter training, Western Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Draft Driving or Combined Driving Events!  Jacque enjoys the starting process of the colts, putting a great and solid foundation on them in riding and driving, showing them a bit, and then selling them to new homes before starting on another 'project horse'

We offer select training for you and your Haflinger as well as a heavy show schedule spanning seven states. 

We welcomed our first child, Johnathan Dean Woodward in August of 2005 and our second child Ty Michael on Sept 27, 2010!
